Short bio

Gustav Borgefalk is a PhD candidate in Service Design at the Royal College of Art, School of Design, in London. He is investigating The Future of Captology – computers as persuasive technologies. Gustav is also a tech entrepreneur, co-founder of Sqore, a digital marketing company and Katla Aero, an electric aircraft manufacturer. Among other things he has been awarded Intel Top 50 Young Innovators of the World and is a Millennium Fellow at the Atlantic Council in Washington.

Gustav Borgefalk is a Swedish technology entrepreneur and design researcher working on pressing issues related to exponentially accelerating technological development. He is currently a PhD candidate in Service Design at the Royal College of Art, School of Design, in London. He is investigating The Future of Captology – computers as persuasive technologies: machines, algorithms, products, and services designed to influence people’s behaviours and attitudes. Gustav is also a seasoned technology entrepreneur:  co-founder of Sqore, a digital marketing company and Katla Aero, an electric aircraft manufacturer. He has an MSc. degree in Business Administration and Finance from Stockholm School of Economics and a diploma from Singularity University in Silicon Valley. He is currently an advisor to ventures at the Stockholm School of Entrepreneurship (SSES). Gustav is a keen lecturer and keynote speaker and has spoken at events such as TED, TEDx, SXSW, LIFT, ELIG and WISE. Among other things he has been awarded Intel Top 50 Young Innovators of the World, St. Gallen Symposium Leader of Tomorrow and is a Millennium Fellow at the Atlantic Council in Washington. He has won the St. Gallen Symposium Wings of Excellence Award, San Diego Venture Challenge and Student of the Year in Sweden 2007. Last but not least, he was runner up in Genikampen, a game show which was broadcasted on Swedish national television.
